Thanks very much to Wagner-addict Chuck of No Fixed Address for alerting me to the fact that the CBC will be rebroadcasting the entire Ring Cycle on Monday, which is the Victoria Day holiday in Canada. The fun starts at 8 am and continues until midnight. Yup, that's 16 straight hours of Wagner. Can you handle it? I'm not sure I can but I'm going to give it a try. As youmay recall, I greatly enjoyed the premiere performance of the Ring Cycle in Canada last autumn. I can't wait to hear Adrianne Pieczonka as Sieglinde again. If you're out of the range of CBC radio, you can listen online by going to their Ring website and clicking on "Listen Live." Enjoy!
