Last night BBC 3 aired Sophocles' Theban Plays (Oedipus the King, Oedipus at Colonus, and Antigone). The apparently long overdue production was based on the tranlation/adaptation by Timberlake Wertenbaker, who introduces the plays. You can listen to the 4-hour program only until next Sunday at Drama on 3.
