My Glorious Boxed Set

I've been a bit tight-lipped about a certain recent purchase but I can't keep it in any more, despite my irrational fears of jinxing it. I recently acquired the out-of-print and much-coveted Complete Greek Tragedies: Centennial Edition, translated by Grene and Lattimore [ptui! ptui!]*. This boxed set, issued to celebrate the University of Chicago Press' centennial, is an updated version of what was already considered the authoritative translation of the Greek tragedies. The individual volumes are still in print (as are paperbacks in 9 volumes), but the boxed set is rare and expensive. Or it can be cheap if you stumble across a bookseller who specializes in something else entirely and has no idea what this set is going for these days. Heh.

Oh, did I mention that it was in mint, never-been-opened condition?
