It seems that a building boom in Dublin is causing stone dust to seep into the leaky 18th century Trinity College Library (pictured in my banner) and settle on it's valuable collection. It only seems natural for books to get dusty but I guess it's not a good thing if you are trying to preserve a nation's literary heritage for future generations. They don't mention whether there is any chemical danger from the dust but perhaps that is also a concern.
