How about attending the new Rare Book School at UCLA? Learning about rare books while getting a good tan and eating great Mexican food sounds like fun to me. The program is a spinoff of the well-established Rare Book School in Charlottesville, VA. The latter school has over 50 courses to choose from including (drool)Medieval & Early Renaissance Bookbinding Structures and (swoon)Introduction to Illuminated Manuscripts.
